Welcome to our Model Railway Shop web pages. Townfoot Models is owned and run by Mike & Clare Le Marie. For 11 years we ran our business from the Pennine town of Alston, but we moved in January 2008 and our new shop is located on Platform 2 of Hexham Railway Station served by frequent trains on the Tyne Valley line from Carlisle to Newcastle upon Tyne. We are currently developing an online ordering service but in the meantime we are more than happy to accept mail order by telephone, letter or email and we accept most major credit and debit cards.

During 2009 we took the decision to withdraw from most of the exhibitions we have attended over past years and concentrate on the shop and a few local exhibitions. See the Exhibition Diary page for details of shows we will be attending during 2011.

Please note that wef 7th November 2011 our opening days will be Tuesday to Friday. We will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Christmas/New Year 2011/12

Our shop will be closed on the following days:

Saturday 24th December to Tuesday 27th December inclusive.

On Saturday 31st December we will close at 3pm.

Normal opening days and hours apply thereafter.
